Regarding the tariff that will be calculated for the company, he said: “The tariff will be studied and evaluated by experts in the ministry to determine the appropriate value, followed by coordination with the concerned authorities.” On the status of electricity consumption this summer, Al-Sumait confirmed that the ministry already passed the critical stage – when power consumption records were broken. He pointed out there are only 10 days left in summer, stressing the ministry started the maintenance works at the beginning of September and will continue until the end of April next year.
