The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has decided to open the door for transfers or move to another place for its employees saying this can be done only March 1 to March 30, reports Al-Qabas daily. In a circular, a copy of which was obtained by the daily, the Acting Director-General, Saleh Al-Fadaghi, called on all those wishing to move to other department or be delegated to submit applications in the prescribed forms during the aforementioned period.
He has asked all DGCA sectors and departments to abide by the contents of the circular, and if anything contradicts the provisions of this circular shall be considered null and void. Sources told Al-Qabas that this circular is in line with the circular that was issued by the Civil Service Council in 2006 on rules, provisions and conditions for transfer, but is not applicable to those in senior or supervisory positions.
