The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Sunday recording 1,048 new coronavirus infection cases in past 24 hours, raising toll of infection cases to 14,850 since outbreak of the virus in the Gulf state. The ministry also reported 5 new deaths from the virus increasing total number of fatalities resulting from the contagious disease to 112.
All new cases were of those who came in contact and are under investigation -242 for Kuwaiti citizens, 242 Indians, 238 Egyptians, 53 Bangladeshis, and all other cases of other nationalities
Health areas: 319 Farwaniyah, 288 Hawally, 196 Ahmadi, 142 in the Capital and 103 Jahra
As per areas: Hawally 104, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 86, Salmiya 83 and Farwaniya 81
168 were in intensive care unit, where as the number of swabs that were carried out during the past 24 hours amounted to 3760 swabs, indicating that the total number of swabs amounted to 244,476,400.
Earlier it was reported 250 people have been recovered from coronavirus bringing total to 4,093
