Health Ministry Updates on Recovery of Accident Victims on Gulf Street.

The Ministry of Health issued an update this evening, Friday, regarding the recent traffic accident on Gulf Street. Nine individuals who were injured in the incident have been discharged from the hospital after receiving necessary medical interventions and achieving stable health conditions.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the official spokesperson for the ministry, informed the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that among the discharged cases, five individuals were discharged from Al-Amiri Hospital, while four were discharged from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. One patient is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Al-Amiri Hospital, and another is in the gynecology department.

Al-Sanad revealed that following the accident earlier this morning, which involved a collision between a car and a group of cyclists on Gulf Street, a total of 11 injured individuals were transferred to Al-Amiri and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals.

The Emergency Medical Department responded promptly upon receiving the report, dispatching ambulances to the accident site. The injured were promptly treated in the emergency departments, with seven cases admitted to Amiri Hospital and four cases to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Most of the injuries consisted of wounds and fractures.

Al-Sanad expressed appreciation for the immediate response and preparedness of the various medical departments that attended to the accident. He extended well wishes for the recovery and safety of the injured individuals.

Furthermore, he reiterated the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, as well as avoiding reckless behavior, to safeguard the health and safety of all road users.
