‘Be present before, after holidays’.

Students must attend their classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays before and after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources from the educational sector. Sources stressed the need for parents to cooperate with school administrations and urge their children to attend classes. Sources warned the rules and regulations regarding absences are applied strictly, especially during the above-mentioned days.

Sources said there will be no makeup classes for students who are absent during those days, pointing out their academic achievement will be affected in case they are absent without a valid excuse. Sources clarified that the students already lost many class days due to the unstable weather conditions recently, so there will be no compensation for those who are absent before and after the holiday.

Meanwhile , the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah recently issued a decision on the transfer of 122 employees from the public jobs group to the special, diplomatic and consular jobs group, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources revealed the positions of the transferred employees are diplomats and consular attachés.
