‘Stop attacks on Speaker and PM’.

Former MP Abdulrahman Al-Jeeran has stressed the need to stop attacks on the heads of the legislative and executive authorities. In a press statement, Al-Jeeran pointed out this is a big problem, which must be addressed by raising public awareness on true democracy. He explained the adoption of slogans urging the National Assembly Speaker or Prime Minister to step down or resign is not in the interest of the public.

He warned that such slogans are being used to achieve personal goals under the pretext of commitment to the Constitution and freedom of speech. He added the continuation of such a harmful attitude led to problems in society and public institutions. He went on to say out that the misinterpretation of the Constitution led to many crises and delayed the completion of development projects. He then stressed the importance of respecting judicial decisions, including the verdicts of the Constitutional Court.

On the other hand, MPs Fayez Al- Jomhour and Muhammad Al-Hewaila praised the decision of Minister of Justice, Endowments and Islamic Affairs Amer Muhammad Al-Ratam on the resumption of regular working hours for employees at Quran centers. This cancels the decision of the former minister on increasing the working hours, which resulted in a number of problems for the employees and their families.
