A group of charity organizations slaughtered 100 Sheep in celebration of re-opening of mosques in Kuwait, slaughtered meet will be distributed among poor and needy people in Kuwait.
Sheep were slaughtered in front of the Great Mosque as a sign of Thanking almighty Allah for allowing to pray in mosques again after a very long period of closure. People in Kuwait spent entire Ramadan praying in home which was never heard in the past.
The group included, Social Reform Soceity , Nammah Charity Organization, Baladal Qhair Charity Organization and Rahma Charity organization.
Organizers extended their sincere thanks to His Highness the Amir of the country, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah may God protect and preserve him and to the Kuwaiti government and all parties that worked to facilitate the return of the opening of the homes of God , including the Ministry of Awqaf and the Ministry of Health as well as the Ministry of Defense which I made tremendous efforts in sterilizing mosques all over the country.
Ministry of Awqaf announced last week to re-open mosques on Wednesday 10 June 2020 in designated areas of Kuwait.
Ministry also launched an mobile app for people to check which of the mosques are open in their area.

As per ministry instructions, Mosque will be opened five minutes before Adan calling , Salat will start after five minutes of Adan, Requested people to do Wadu at home and sanitize their hand before coming, To bring their own Musalla, Wear Mask during the prayer in the mosque , Old, Children below 10 years and Sick people are not allowed, Not to shake hands with mussalli , To keep distance between two people as marked, To read Quran from their mobile and mosque will be closed after 10 mins.
Mosque from expat populous areas like Jleeb, Hawally, Khaita, Farwaniya and Salmiya were not included in this phase. Expatriate community is eagerly waiting for mosques to open so that they can also join in this celebration.
Speaking to Q8India, one of expatriate in salmiya Mr. Abdul Moiz said, He has been waiting eagerly to pray at mosque and today he went running to mosque thinking that it will be opened, He had to return home disappointed.
