The Indian Embassy is pleased to announce the inauguration of the ‘Thematic Library’ within its premises on Wednesday, 26 August 2020, at 2:30 pm. The Thematic Library aims to present India’s rich and vibrant cultural, literary heritage in its myriad, diverse and splendid forms in an interesting format with a focus on a weekly theme.
Keeping with the spirit of the festive season, which includes the upcoming festival of Onam, the theme of the Library for the next fortnight is ‘Festivals of India’. A quiz competition on this subject will be conducted during the entire duration of the current theme. Participation is open to all the visitors of the Embassy with the quiz forms being placed at both the Reception and the Consular Hall of the Embassy.
The Thematic Library also has a digital interface in the form of its official twitter account, @thematic_lib, through which India related books and relevant literary information will be shared regularly. Embassy invites its nationals in Kuwait and friends of India to visit and explore the rich collection of books in the Thematic library.
