400 files examined of suspected visa trading

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) said the teams tasked with the teams concerned with the labor protection sector have examined 400 files of those suspected of trading in visas.

These files were discovered after the Ministry of Interior issued amnesty for residence law violators to leave the country without paying fines during April.

The suspects include a teacher of the Arabic language working for the Ministry of Education and is believed to be a middleman who worked for the visa trader.

He allegedly received 2,000 dinars for his role to bring Egyptian workers to Kuwait. He also allegedly provided housing for the workers for a few days after they arrived into Kuwait
