526 new infections from coronavirus in Kuwait, total 5,804

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said Tuesday that 526 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the overall to 5,804. The Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Abdullah Al-Sanad said in his daily press briefing.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said at the daily press conference that the travel-related cases amounted to 6, which are Kuwaiti citizens, related to travel to the United States of America, indicating that all of these cases were presented in recent evacuation flights.

Al-Sanad added that the number of other cases that were confirmed infected with (Covid-19) reached 520 cases, including cases of contact with HIV-infected cases and others under search for the causes of infection and examination of those in contact with them, as (80 cases of Kuwaiti citizens) and (195 cases of residents of Indian nationality) were recorded. (76 cases of Bangladeshi nationality), (66 cases of Egyptian nationality), and the rest of the cases are of other nationalities.

On the latest developments in intensive care during the past 24 hours, Dr Sanad explained that the total number of cases that receive the necessary medical care in intensive care is 90 cases, 59 of which are stable and 31 critical, pointing out that the total number of cases of (Covid-19) is still receiving Medical care 3,732 cases.

Regarding the Institutional Quarantine Centers, he stated that the total of those who ended the mandatory institutional quarantine period during the past 24 hours amounted to 110 cases, after performing all preventive measures and ensuring that all samples are free of the virus, provided that they complete a period of not less than 14 days in the compulsory home quarantine with effect From the date of leaving the stone center.

He called on citizens and residents to adhere to the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers and the recommendations and decisions of the Ministry of Health and the official authorities in the country that aim to contain and eliminate the virus, recommending to continue using all methods and methods of disease prevention and following up the official accounts approved about the latest developments and developments.

The Kuwaiti Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah announced earlier today that 85 cases will be cured, bringing the total number of cases cured of the disease in the country to 2032.
