The recent statistics on the means of transportation issued by the government revealed that every Kuwaiti family owns three cars, compared to one car for every expatriate family, reports Al-Anba daily. According to the statistics, every 100 Kuwaiti families have 288 cars, compared to 98 cars for every 100 expatriate families. In addition, every 100 Kuwaiti families own six motorcycles, while the same number of Kuwaiti families own 40 bicycles compared to 22 for every 100 expatriate families. The report also disclosed that every 100 Kuwaiti families own more than five other means of transportation like buggies, trailers and caravans.
