Based on the Unlock 5.0 guidelines, museums, exhibitions and art galleries under the Ministry of Culture have begun reopening after nearly eight months of lockdown since March. The ministry in a statement while issuing its directive had said that the reopening was also in light of the festive season, so that the public can once again enjoy exploring rich cultural heritage of India. Detailed SOPs on preventive measures to contain spread of Covid-19 have been outlined and are being implemented across facilities.
