An Indian national Mr. Umar Gulam Dastagir was killed on the spot in a tragic car accident happened on Wednesday afternoon at Abdally area. Wife and children received serious injuries in the accident and rushed to Jahra Hospital where Wife succumbed to her injuries.
Mr. Umar hails from Tamil Nadu and was working for Boubyan Bank since 15 years and wife was a dentist.
This incident has shocked many who knew Mr. Umar personally, Mr. Ahmed Ali said that he was a very nice person and devastated with the news of his death. He prayed for the children who are getting treatment at Jahra Hospital.
One of Umar’s close friend Mr. Zabhi also expressed shock at this tragic incident.
Burial for both the deceased will be held today in Sulaibikhat after ASR prayer today (Thursday 3 March ).
