Indian Embassy condolences message.

The President Ram Nath Kovind and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of India, and the Indian community in Kuwait expressed their sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of Kuwait in this time of grief on the sad demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

The Indian President said he was deeply saddened at the demise of His Highness – a great statesman, and humanitarian and close friend of India. The Prime Minister Modi said, “In this moment of grief our thoughts are with the Al-Sabah family and the people of the State of Kuwait. “Today, the State of Kuwait and the Arab world have lost a beloved leader, India a close friend, and the world a great statesman. His Highness played a leading role in strengthening our bilateral relations, and always took special care of the Indian community in Kuwait,” the message said.

The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Sibi George on the passing away of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait said the world lost a great statesman, humanitarian leader and close friend of India. “The people of India will fondly remember and cherish His Highness for the care and affection he showered upon the Indian community in Kuwait. I sincerely pray for the departed soul, may his soul rest in eternal peace,” the ambassador said.
