Kuwait Society for Human Rights has issued a booklet which contains an artistic vision examining some Kuwaiti women issues and addresses them in an artistic and critical manner. The booklet addresses the problems and challenges which face the Kuwaiti woman in her endeavour to obtain all her rights. It further discusses, in a critical manner, some Kuwaiti women issues which are protected constitutionally under Article 29 of the Kuwait Constitution which stipulates: “All people are equal in human dignity and in public rights and duties before the law, without distinction by race, origin, language, or religion.” Khaled Al-Humaidi Al-Ajmi, Chairman of Kuwait Society for Human Rights, said that due to the existence of discriminatory practices and laws deviated from the context of the Kuwait Constitution, the Constitution is supposed to be the base through which the laws shall be drawn, the Society has issued this booklet to place these laws and legislations under criticism because they were the reasons for developing discriminatory societal practices against women.

He pinpointed that the booklet uses the manner of criticism, not sarcasm, whereas criticism, according to Al-Humaidi, aims to correct public contexts, especially practices that deal with women either in a violent way or by inflicting them with consequences of actions that were not caused by them, or making them regret for just choosing to exercise their human rights.
