The Ministry of Public Works stated that the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, is about to sign a statement of terminating the services of all expats of the ministry. This list includes up to 400 employees from different departments of the ministry. Earlier services of 150 employees were terminated in the first batch.
The sources indicated that the names included in the list were working in administrative and legal positions, in addition to some names who worked in the technical department. The Minister Al-Faris intended to terminate the services of all expatriate employees to replace them with Kuwaiti nationals.
