The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 616 people in Kuwait during past 24 hours, official spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.
Total cases till date are 101,299 since outbreak of the pandemic in the country months ago. 2 infected persons died in last 24 hours bringing the total to 590.
Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that infections as per health districts, 171 cases in the Ahmadi health district, 152 cases in the Hawalli Health District, 107 cases in the Capital Health District, 95 cases in Al-Jahra Health District, and 91 cases in the Farwaniya area. Health.
There are currently 101 patients receiving medical care at intensive care wards, with the overall number of the confirmed infected cases that continue to receive medical care standing at 8,368.
He added that up to 4,622 swab tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, bringing total tests to 720,509.
The MoH declared earlier today that 729 of the coronavirus patients recovered during the past 24 hours, putting the whole count of the recuperated at 92,341.
