Two Asian men were casualties of a fire that blazed through a residence of farmworkers in Kuwait, the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate said in a press release, Al Jarida reported.
Two firefighting teams rushed to the scene of the blaze in the area of Al Wafra in southern Kuwait and extinguished the flames. The two victims were handed over to criminal evidence authorities for investigations. Neither the nationalities or the ages of the men were given. The cause of the fire, which broke out early Monday, has not been ascertained yet. Foreigners account for nearly 3.4 million of Kuwait’s 4.8 million population.
