The Coronavirus Vaccination Committee at the Ministry of Health has approved three international companies to supply the vaccine for COVID-19 after comparing the offers of several companies, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources from the health sector.
Sources told the daily that the required quantity is not more than 3.2 million doses for 1,600,000 people – two doses per person. Sources said the ministry consulted the regulatory authorities to approve contracting with these companies, provided the vaccine is supplied only when proven that it is effective and upon obtaining the approval of international medical organizations.
