‘No appointment for visit to co-ops’.

Union of Consumers Cooperative Societies Chairman Fahd Al-Kashti has announced lifting the requirement to set online appointment for shopping in cooperatives in various governorates, reports Al-Jarida daily.

In a press statement, Al-Kashti thanked the ministries of Commerce and Social Affairs for cooperating with the union over the past period. “Coinciding with the return to normal life and the lifting of the partial curfew, it is imperative to continue adhering to health regulations during visits to cooperatives. The cooperatives must provide masks and sterilize their premises regularly.”

He also affirmed the commitment of cooperative societies to cover the needs of citizens and residents by ensuring ample supply of various commodities, foodstuff and consumer goods.
