Afghanistan gets listed in banned countries – Total 32.

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation announced that, Afghanistan has been added in latest list of banned countries which makes total of 32 countries ( India – Iran – China – Brazil – Colombia – Armenia – Bangladesh – Philippines, Syria – Spain – Singapore – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sri Lanka – Nepal – Iraq – Mexico – Indonesia – Chile – Pakistan – Egypt – Lebanon – Hong Kong – Italy – North Macedonia – Moldova – Panama – Peru – Serbia – Montenegro – Dominican Republic – Kosovo and Afghanistan). All flights coming in from Afghanistan to Kuwait are banned.

Earlier DGCA also stated that based on the update of the health authorities, the validity period of the PCR certificate has been amended from 72 hours to 96 hours for passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport.

The administration added that the PCR examination certificate issued by the State of Kuwait will be sufficient for the passengers outside the country whose travel period does not exceed four days, and a PCR examination is not required upon his return as long as the examination certificate is valid and the passenger adheres to health requirements.
