CSC allocates 200 job grades for appointment of Kuwaiti women wedded to expats’ children

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has allocated 200 job grades to pave way for the appointment of the children of Kuwaiti women married to non-Kuwaitis to various administrative posts related to the provision of social and psychological services in the Ministry of Education, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting sources from the ministry.

Sources confirmed the ministry received an official letter from the CSC which gave the green light for the appointment of the children of the above-mentioned Kuwaiti women. Sources said this step came three years after stopping the appointment of non-Kuwaitis to such posts. Sources affirmed this move will greatly contribute to ongoing efforts to address the shortage of staff in the social and psychological services jobs, especially since citizens are reluctant to take these jobs.

Sources added the Administrative Sector will soon review the documents submitted by Kuwaiti job applicants and then contact them for the Social and Psychological Services Department to conduct interviews. Sources said those who will pass the screening will be appointed immediately in order to cover the shortage in schools
