Rules For Arriving Passengers, PCR certificate & 14 days quarantine from date of entry

The numbers of infection cases per day have come back to what it was two months back specifically in early May. In last 24 hours 300 people were infected and the total infection in Kuwait has reached to 59,204.

On the other hand all arriving citizens and expatriates are required to bring a PCR certificate when commercial flights to Kuwait restarts in the beginning of August, plus will have to go through home quarantine for a period of 14 days from the date of entry into the country.

Informed sources revealed that a pledge has to be signed that the instructions as per the Ministry of Health will be followed, bringing an accredited health certificate of PCR test proving that the traveler is negative from (Covid 19), need to download and register on (Shlonik) app before boarding the plane, and adhering to the requirements in terms of wearing masks, gloves, etc., temperature will be checked for all passengers before boarding and upon arrival, random (PCR) test will be conducted on 10% of arriving passengers per flight .
