MoE refuses to accredit certificates of Pakistani schools’ students

The Private Education General Department in the Ministry of Education refused to accredit the certificates of successful students in Pakistani schools for academic year 2019/2020; stressing the need to submit the students’ transcript of records for the second semester, not just the graduation certificate.

While an official educational source confirmed that the department informed all private schools about this; some parents told the daily that one of the Pakistani schools asked them to accredit the first and second semester certificates which are not recognized in Egypt as these schools have trimester with a final degree for the whole academic year, not a certificate for each semester.

Parents said their children passed without final exams in these schools and obtained graduation certificates, but the procedures for accrediting the certificates were disrupted and suspended because of the procedures of the schools in violation of the rules of the department
