Ministry cancels decision to limit shoppers in cooperative societies according to the address

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry canceled its decision to limit the number of shoppers in cooperative societies according to the address registered in the civil ID.

Earlier, the ministry issued a decision to allow shopping in cooperative societies only for those residing in the area where the cooperative is located and the point of reference in determining the residential area is the address in the civil IDs of shoppers.

The ministry took this decision in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus. In addition, the ministry also canceled its decision to close the vegetables and fruits market in Sulaibiya, as the market is now open to the public from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm by appointment only (barcode).
