More areas to be isolated?

As Kuwait will prepare gradually to return back to normal life next Sunday, May 30, the last day of total ban imposed on the country. The relevant government authorities are making preparations for the next phase according to plans and strategies developed in accordance with health developments in confronting the spread of corona virus.

Well-informed sources revealed that next stage will be transition from a total lockdown to a partial curfew again, and extending isolation period for areas that has been already isolated ie Jleeb Al Shuyoukh and Mahboula.

The sources pointed out that, according to the daily infection figures suggestions were put forward to include areas such as Farwaniya, Maidan Hawally and others, to strictly follow health measures but these are just recommendations still under discussion.

The sources emphasized that instructions were issued to strictly adhere to the rules of wearing masks in public places, commitment to social distancing especially in markets, complexes, and others, should be strictly followed failing to do so will have to face legal consequences.
