The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 991 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 10,277, while 10 deaths were reported as well, bringing the fatalities’ toll up to 75.
Buthaina Al-Mudhaf stated that medical tests were conducted on 2,900 people in 15 cooperatives. 128 buildings were quarantined due to the Corona virus in the country. More than a thousand people were isolated and tested for infection in these buildings
New cases are all of those who came in contact and are under investigation 138 of Kuwaitis, 300 of Indians, 222 of Egyptians, 118 of Bangladeshis and the rest of the cases are of other nationalities –
Infections according to health areas: Farwaniya 356, Al-Ahmadi, 237, Hawally 219, Capital 116, and Jahra 63.
Residential areas tests conducted: 107 cases in the Farwaniya area, 103 cases in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, 89 cases in the Hawalli region and 68 cases in the Khaitan area.
Number of those receiving medical care in intensive care is 158 cases, of which 84 are stable and 74 critical cases, bringing the total of all cases that have been diagnosed with (Covid-19) and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7101 cases.
