Residence offenders can leave the country between April 1 and 30 without paying fines

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh issued a decree whereby he exempted every residence violator from paying the fines, provided he left the country between April 1 and 30.

The decision set a number of controls for foreigners who wish to leave the country during the month of April.

The decision stated that the foreigner may leave the country and return to it again unless it is prohibited for another reason.

The decision allowed violators who had administrative or judicial obstacles to leaving the country to review the General Administration of Residence Affairs to discuss their cases in accordance with the provisions and legal rules.

The decision stressed that whoever does not leave within the deadline granted by the violators will be subject to the prescribed penalties and will not be authorized to reside and be removed from the country.

My kuwait residence visa is going to expire on April 3 and my employer has already cancelled it. I had reserved the ticket to India on March 25 due to the international suspension of flights from both sides the flight service had been cancelled.. After that India announced complete lockdown within country for 21 days i.e, upto April 21.In Kuwait MOI announced that resident violaters can leave the country upto April 30.Now I came to know through some websites that the lockdown in India extends further may be upto the end of May.. If it will happen what is the procedure I have to follow..Will overstay fines be imposed on me? Should I apply for a visit visa in the intervening period of time?
