Mr. G Balasubramanian, Former Director, Academics CBSE, addressed the crowd of teachers. Known for his innovation in curriculum development and interactive pedagogy, he has been instrumental to the introduction of several innovations in curriculum in CBSE which include frontline curriculum, communicative approach to language teaching. He has authored several books like, MINDSCAPING EDUCATION,, CASE STUDIES IN CLASSROOMS etc. He was the keynote speaker for the Happiness Curriculum training session for teachers.

He shared his ideas about teachers, curriculum and children. It was indeed a fun filled session. He believed that teachers are capable of transforming children. Through a very effective presentation that includes quotes and ideas of being happy, time management, individual attitudes, curriculum, pedagogy, emotional and skill quotients, difference between the standard and quality of life, success, excellence, quotes of Dr. Ramana Maharishi, Socartes etc. the ideal student teacher relationship was aptly defined.

According to Dr. G Balasubramanian, the various facets of life, spiritual, organic, emotional, social and professional, all must be dealt with patience and sense. One must have the passion in what one does. He also reminded everyone that there is no particular path to happiness, but happiness is the path. He educated the teachers that one must teach the children to respond and not to react. The teachers must be concerned about health care, education, family time and satisfaction in one’s work. Only then it is possible to discover the ultimate happiness. For a child to be happy, his teachers must be happy.

After the effective and groundbreaking presentation,, an interactive session was left open for the crowd to ponder over and clear their uncertainties.

As a token of love, gratitude and appreciation, the Principal Dr. V Binumon and the Honorable Secretary, Board of Trustees, Mr. Azharuddin Amir Mohammed presented a memento to Mr. G Balasubramanian.
