ICSK Junior awards winners of Pearls Arts Fest 2019

A dazzling award ceremony that celebrated the student’s forays into the beautiful world of art, literature was held in ICSK Senior auditorium on 21st September 2019 to celebrate the winners of Pearls and culture Art fest competitions. Art, a combination of imagination, creativity and skill expresses human emotions, transmits ideas and values inherent in every culture across space and time. Every child is an artist who never fears to express emotions through the innocence and so every enthusiastic participant of Arts fests 2019 has accomplished something.

The weeklong array of cultural and literary competitions saw more than 4400 participations from the enthusiastic students. And the lessons and skills the students learnt as they painted, sang, danced will stay with them for a long time to come.  Art fest, the celebration of art is a wonderful opportunity provided by ICSK. This year marks the completion of sixty glorious years of ICSK, the first ever school opened for Indian Nationalities that paved way for many others to follow.

The chief guest Mr. Amitabh Ranjan, Second Secretary, Education and Community Affairs, Indian Embassy, congratulated the students and the school for the success of the event.

 Principal Mrs. Sherly Dennis lauded the efforts of the students, parents and teachers alike for the wonderful efforts they had put to make the event a grand success. She also had a word of advice for the students and the parents to take the competitions with right sprit and enjoy participation.

A total of 246 winners along with their proud parents received their trophies and the certificates of merit from the esteemed dignitaries that included the chief guest Mr. Amitabh Ranjan, Mr. Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Hon. Chairman to the BOT, Mr. Amer Mohammed, Hon. Secretary to the BOT, Mr. Agnello Fernandes, Hon Jt. Secretary to the BOT, Dr. V. Binumon Sr, Administrator, Principal Senior branch, Principal Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Vice Principal C. Sheeja and Vice Principal Senior Branch Mrs. Susan Rajesh. The students who excelled in each category were awarded with the titles Kalathilak and Kalapratibha trophies and certificates.

The Vice Principal Mrs. Sheeja in her vote of thanks, thanked the  management, the teachers, support staff, parents, students and all those who made year’s Arts fest a memorable one.
