IWA Conducts press meet Women’s conference on “Liberalism: A social menace”.

Islamic women’s Association (IWA-The ladies wing of Kerala Islamic group KIG) conducted a press conference in view of the upcoming Kuwait Women’s conference on “Liberalism: A social menace”, which will be held on May 5th 2023 in Kuwait at the main auditorium of Indian Central School Abbasiya from 6:30 pm onwards.

Freedom is our right but liberalism without boundaries has proven dangerous to the society, during the press meet IWA leaders stressed through the press release which was distributed to the media personals, that Liberalism is the product of consumerism, which has emerged as the epitome of freedom and equality, but has been ebbing away from the basic social fabric and family structure. Liberalism has destroyed the sanctity and moral values of the basic unit of the society, which is the family.  Most of the European countries that promoted liberalism have faced many setbacks as liberalism promotes free sex and facilitate Sexual relations without boundaries which in turn lead the society into anarchy, the press please continued.

Prominent Social Activist Fathima Shabarimala, Muslim Students Federation Former National Vice President Adv. Fathima Tahliya, Mahila Congress Secretary Dr. Soya Joseph and Jama’ath-e-Islami Hind Women’s Wing State Council Member CV Jameela will participate in the conference along with prominent leaders from the leading Socio-cultural organizations actively working in Kuwait.

IWA conducted similar women’s conferences earlier with distinguished guests like Sara Joseph, Justice Sridevi and Deepa Nishanth. The upcoming Women’s conference will be a benchmark for Women’s conferences in Kuwait, said the leaders. IWA President Mahbooba Anees, General Secretary Asha Doulath, Treasurer Sabeena Razak, Assistant program convener  Samiya Faisal, Vice Presidents Warda Anwar, Najma Shareef and Media Convener Simi Akbar attended the press conference.

Anil K Nambiar (Amrita Tv), Saleem Kottayil ( Media one), Hikmath (Kairali Kuwait), Krishnan Kadalundi ( Veekshanam), Nijas Kasim ( Vibjiyor), Sathar Kunnil ( E jalakam), Aslam (Gulf Madyamam), Abdulla Vadakara (Deepika Daily), Habeeb Muttichur (Midline), Sunoj Nambiar     (Indians Kuwait)  and Reji Basker(colours of Kuwait) were among the media personals who attended the press meet.
