Kuwaiti citizens working in the private sector complained via Annahar daily about the cessation of employment support without prior warning from the Public Authority for Manpower, under the pretext that the work permit has expired and must be renewed.
They said, “The system is the cause of our suffering.” The employees disregarded the fate of many families, so it is inconceivable that the fate of a Kuwaiti in the private sector is linked to a work permit, and he is registered in social insurance, and his contract is valid.”
They asked: “Who is responsible for stopping the salary of a Kuwaiti family that has monthly financial obligations?” They demanded the director of the Public Authority for Manpower to act and stop the suffering of the families.
