Army, police & NG personnel held over disciplinary action ‘released’.

First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issued his instructions on Thursday the release of all military personnel from the army who were arrested as a disciplinary measure. The Presidency of the General Staff of Kuwait Army said in a press statement that this comes on the occasion of the country’s celebrations of national holidays.

INTERIOR MINISTRY: Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, the release of all members of police force who were arrested for disciplinary reasons and each of them to spend time with their family on the occasion of National Day and Liberation Day starting tomorrow Friday. The Ministry said in a press statement to the General Department of Public Relations and Media, that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas, issued a decision to release all members of the police force who were arrested for disciplinary reasons based on their actions. Directives from the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Khaled Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah.

NATIONAL GUARD: The National Guard announced on Thursday, the release of the military personnel who were detained with disciplinary punishments on the occasion of the celebration of the National and Liberation Days, so that they can spend the festive period with their friends and families. The National Guard said in a press statement that the Undersecretary of the Guard, Staff Lieutenant General Hashim Al-Rifai, issued a decision to release the military personnel who were arrested with disciplinary punishments, based on the directives of His Highness the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Chief of the National Guard and Deputy Chief of the National Guard, Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
