The Municipal Coordinating Committee assigned the Deputy Director General for the Development and Information Sector, Eng. Fahd Patel in coordination with the Survey Sector, to start the trial operation of the land allocation program system, provided that it takes place within a week and notify the Government Performance Follow-up Agency, the General Secretariat for Planning and the Ministry of Finance, as it is the body supervising the initiative and is included in the government’s work program, reports Al- Qabas daily. An informed source said Eng Patel, has reviewed during the meeting of the Coordinating Committee, which was chaired by the Director General of the Municipality, Eng. Ahmad Al-Manfouhi, a number of electronic programs currently in force or under development.
The programs are land allocation, aerial photos, building permits, commercial licenses, electric current connection, description certificate and the safety program. It was decided after discussion regarding the photos that assigning the Deputy Director- General of the Development and Information Sector to coordinate with the financial and administrative sectors to provide all the necessary requirements to ensure the readiness to use the program, with an emphasis on the need to provide and update aerial photographs periodically every three months.
The source said that with regard to the safety program, it was recommended to start its operation within a month, indicating that with regard to programs for description certificates, building permits, electric current connection, commercial licenses and other electronic programs, it was decided to assign the Deputy Director General of the Development and Information Sector to coordinate with the administration to review the legal formulas included in the electronic systems, through which the auditor acknowledges knowledge and commitment to the terms and conditions according to each transaction before using the electronic services, and confirms that the responsibility of the municipality lies within the limits of its competence only. He added that the meeting touched on the cadastral plan device, and it was decided to coordinate to provide a device on a temporary basis at the entrance of the main building for electronic services, such as printing the cadastral chart or the organizational opinion.
As for sorting and merging, it was decided to coordinate with the organizing sector to display and operate the sorting and merging system. The source revealed that the attendees discussed the procedures that were taken regarding the removal of encroachments on state property, and what is related to the implementation of judicial rulings, and the procedures taken by the Ahmadi Municipality branch, regarding the removal of some infringement by a company, which were removed, except for some infringements that fall within the jurisdiction of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs.
