In an atmosphere that reflects the spirit of love, tolerance and coexistence that Kuwait enjoys, St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral celebrated Christmas on January 6, reports Al-Seyassah daily. In his speech during the Christmas Mass, the pastor of St. Mark’s Cathedral of the Coptic Orthodox, Bishoi Al-Anba expressed his wishes for prosperity and prosperity for Kuwait and for its leaders, government and good people for goodness and peace, pointing out that “Kuwait is a country that carries messages of peace and calls for goodness and affection.” Priest Bishoi thanked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his good feelings and congratulatory speech to Christians abroad, appreciating his efforts to achieve a renewed renaissance that creates a new future and a promising start for Egypt and its people.

He expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir of the country, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, describing him as a man of love, giving and renaissance, and to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad, bearer of the torch of security and development, wishing their Highnesses goodness, health, success and payment in leading Kuwait’s civilized march, and the Kuwaiti government success and success .

Benevolence
He added, “We must thank God for his benevolence, and for the past year and years ago, and we should also thank him for everything we go through in life, even when we go through hardships, and always have a spirit of contentment and arm ourselves with absolute trust in God, who manages all the affairs of our lives.” He expressed his hope that “the next year will be happy, and that the whole world will recover from the effects of the spread of the epidemic, wars and climate change, and we call on everyone to work for peace and human development.”

The Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait, Osama Shaltout, said, “On this occasion, I am pleased to express my job and pride of the Egyptian community on the land of Kuwait, for their distinguished role in achieving development in various fields.” We also commend “important role played by the Egyptian Church in Kuwait, as an essential partner in every effort made for the interest of the country and its elevation.”

Shaltout added, “It is my pleasure to say on this blessed occasion we derive feelings of love and peace, and the values advocated by Prophet Christ (PBUH), and during which we evoke the honorable national role of the Egyptian Church, throughout its history and its luminous record, which refl ects the unity of the national fabric.” He indicated that “the whole world is facing today the repercussions of wars and political tensions, but we are confident in our country’s ability to overcome challenges with the help of its loyal sons, full of will and hope for a prosperous future for our dear Egypt.”
