“School life is the best stop of our life.”
The Indian Community School Kuwait was all set to welcome its students back after a long and rejuvenating summer break. Our lovely students were all relaxed, recharged and ready.
A grandiose and red carpet welcome was extended to the students as the school bounced back in full offline mode. The campus wore a festive look as students took the walk through the welcome corridor created by the teachers with the head of the institution Dr. V. Binumon Principal of ICSK Senior at the lead. Though following the tradition, the novelty in the reception was the warm welcome cards and sweets at the school gate. The Principal and teachers received the students and showered their blessings. The Cartoon characters Dora and Mickey added fun and entertainment. Many students shared their experience in an On-the Spot interview on how they felt to be back on campus.
The full house Assembly was the highlight of the day as the school missed such an event for long two years due to Covid 19 pandemic. Togetherness is a happy feeling of affection and closeness to other people, especially when you are with your friends and this feeling rebounded throughout the day.
Mrs. Mini Shaji, Deputy Vice Principal of ICSK Senior, delivered the welcome note. She expressed how excited the school was to see all the students back in full attendance after the Covid 19 pandemic. Mrs. Susan Rajesh Pothen, Vice Principal of ICSK Senior, gave instructions to the students on public etiquette and routines within the campus. She gave a detailed awareness for the students regarding the rules and regulations of the school.
Dr. V Binumon, Principal and Senior Administrator of ICSK, addressed the students. He in his address asked the students to have a positive mind set. He reminded the students about the importance of the academic and non-academic activities. He quoted the significance of the Flora Snap, a summer event of planting trees and asked the students to make the program a great success. He wished all students a great and fruitful academic year ahead.
The school choir, Swaranjali, stole the hearts of the students with the soulful motivational song. The new staff members were welcomed by the principal and they introduced themselves.
Each year brings positive change, and our esteemed institution ardently works towards fulfilling its vision and mission. The students had a lot of fun-interacting with their teachers and friends. The classes resumed, as planned. The students enjoyed their time in the class. The school management extended their wishes for the day and the session ahead. The day ended on a positive note with a well planned dispersal of students.
