Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 2 deaths and 708 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 746 and the infected cases to 121,635, health ministry data showed.

According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 8,118; 121 of whom in intensive care units.

Al-Sanad added that 5,496 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 876,250 so far.

Meanwhile, some 661 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 112,771, the ministry said.
