The medical teams began collection of smears (from the nose / pharynx) by visiting random homes in residential areas.
The Ministry of Health indicated that the visits will take place between 5pm and 11 pm and has already started in the Hawally area.
This step is a continuation of the surveillance campaigns to test and assess the epidemiological status of the community carefully and accurately.
