8 deaths, 885 new cases of coronavirus infection in Kuwait, total 12,860

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced 885 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 12,860, while 8 deaths were reported as well, bringing the fatalities’ toll up to 96. 190 patients were in intensive care including 90 stable cases and 100 critical cases.

Among the cases that were monitored during the past 24 hours, 267 cases of residents of Egyptian nationality, 184 cases of residents of Indian nationality, 115 cases of residents of Bangladesh nationals, and 109 cases of Kuwaiti citizens, while the rest cases are of different other nationalities.

Among the total cases that were monitored during the past 24 hours, 265 cases were monitored in Al Farwaniya Health Zone, 251 cases in Hawally Health District, 197 cases in Ahmadi Health Zone, 97 cases in Jahra Health Zone, and 75 cases in Capital Health Zone.

As for the residential areas in which the largest number of infections was observed during the past 24 hours, 104 cases were monitored in Farwaniya, 74 cases in Hawally, 73 cases in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and 70 cases in Salwa.

Earlier today, the Ministry announced the recovery of patients 189, bringing the total to 3,640 recoveries
