The striking venue, with a cylindrical area of 5,000 square meters, is wrapped by 12 steel tiles resembling red lotus petals. The structure also features a glass dome that enables natural lightning.

The exhibition center is part of a 9.45 billion US dollar tourism and sports complex project developed by Dalian Wanda group, the giant property and entertainment conglomerate chaired by billionaire Wang Jianlin. It is expected to open in the second half of this year.
