Kuwait to tackle terrorism through social development

A visiting Kuwaiti official has called for tackling terrorism through social development, regional and international coordination.
Terrorism has become a global issue affecting all nations particularly Arab countries, said Sheikha Hamdan Al-Adwani, the assistant undersecretary of social affairs, in remarks to KUNA on sidelines of an Arab conference about terrorism and social development.
Family can play a major role in the combat against terrorism, she said, noting that families can cooperate with the states to help youngsters invest in free time and express their opinions.
Kuwait is taking party in the conference with representatives from the State various departments.
The Kuwaiti delegation is presenting a document outlining basic plans and decisions that had been taken in Kuwait for combating this peril.
